Cherry Omoda and Jaco Brands Manager Ryan Wang said that his company is soon going to launch the ‘Omoda E5 EV‘, Jaco’s J8 and J7, J7 PHEV in Pakistan.
Omoda E5 is a fully electric car, while there is a version of the Omoda 5 that is not electric, this car is capable of traveling 430 km in a single charge, it is 9.9 kW. It can be charged at AC current and 80 kW DC current, it is capable of charging from 30 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes. The single electric motor gives it 201 horsepower and 340 Nm of instant torque.
The feature of this car is that you don’t need a key to drive it and it starts automatically, it has lane following for drivers, traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, self warning. Advanced features like automatic front light high beam are available.
Apart from this, a special feature ‘Hill Star Assist, Hill Descent Control’ has been provided for people going to hilly areas, while the air in the tires can also be checked while sitting inside the car. The price of this car in Malaysia is one lakh. 8 thousand 800 million ringgit is basic. And if seen in Pakistani currency, it is around 64 to 69 lakhs, but when this car is introduced in Pakistan, its price will definitely be higher.
Jaco J8
Jaco J8 is a large SUV which is similar in terms of volume to ‘Kia Sportage’ and ‘Honda Tucson’, this vehicle is known worldwide as ‘Cherry Tiago 9’ and it seats 5 to 7 people. With a seating capacity of , this vehicle has a special 2000 cc turbo engine which is capable of producing 245 horsepower along with 385 Nm of torque. As soon as this car is introduced in Pakistan, it will surely make its place in the market very soon.
Jaco J7 and J7 PHEV
Chery’s off-road performance ‘Jaco’ has recently been introduced, the Jaco J7 is an off-road crossover capable of performing in all types of snowy, rough and sandy terrains. It is powered by a 1600 cc turbocharged engine that produces 194 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque.
